“ Came for dinner and, as always, had a wonderful time. We made a reservation for 4:45 PM and were seated right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great evening. The restaurant was quite busy, with a few private parties going on, but it didn’t affect the quality of service at all. Our server Sean was attentive and everything came out in a timely manner (except for our fries which he apologized for and took off of our bill) The food was excellent, as it always is—fresh and flavorful. One of the highlights of this location is the view. Whether you're dining inside or out, the scenery adds an extra special touch to the experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their happy hour soon. Highly recommend Lescombes for a relaxed yet upscale dining experience! ”
“ I have been wanting to go to this place because I saw they have schnitzel and I love schnitzel. I went with my parents and husband and we all really liked it. We got the bruschetta for an appetizer, it was good, the only issue was the cheese—we all thought the taste of the cheese was a bit bland and it took away from the overall taste. The schnitzel was great and so were the mashed potatoes. My husband got the honey Dijon chicken and he liked it, the portion was just considerably smaller than the portion of the schnitzel. My dad got the Chile Colorado and he also thought it was really good. For dessert I got the creme brulee and I enjoyed it, my parents go the chocolate torte and they thought it was too chocolatey, but my husband enjoyed it. Overall, we all really liked the food and were happy with it. The waitress was also very nice and so was the atmosphere. ”
“ Tried for the first time today with my family. I would definitely be returning to this restaurant and bringing others along, too! Our waiter, Joseph, was lovely and had excellent customer service. I got the nm style pasta, it was delicious! ”
“ We had a great experience at DH Lescombes Winery and Bistro. It was a bit of a family reunion with some out of town family from Seattle. My experience at the downtown location was okay, it seemed like my food had been plated for 15 or 20 minutes before they brought it to me so it was very cold. But everybody's dishes at the Rio Rancho location were hot and good. Our server was attentive and kept the drinks flowing! ”
“ It was our first visit to the new location. The ambiance is amazing, on one side is an elegant dining room, on the other is a relaxing bar setting with a great view of the city. Of course, the wine selection is great but was surprised to see a full bar set up with local beer and mixed drinks as well. The food menu has selections from many cuisines and gives you the feeling that they are trying to hit every palate, which isn't necessarily bad but from an establishment such as theirs I'd expect more originality. We ordered the chicken parmesan and the meatloaf, both were good but certainly not equal to the atmosphere and service. All in all, it was a good experience and I would recommend trying them out. ”
“ OK, this is our third time here and it’s time for a review. First of all we came when it was super busy walked in and were seated within 10 minutes. The staff super friendly, very attentive, including the managers each time we’ve had Karen as our waitress not only is she knowledgeable, but she makes you feel like you’re at her home the food well just delicious the wine very very well paired with the food. I personally love the hummus appetizer as my meal, especially when they add the honey with the bread definitely a place that we will bring friends and family. ”
“ What a gem of a restaurant! The appetizer was absolutely amazing and was so big that the two of us couldn’t finish it and still be hungry for our meal. The New Mexican Pasta had a nice bite to it and the chicken Parm was very flavorful, I like when I don’t have to add salt to my dishes:) The service was good and the price was great, especially considering the quality of the food, this will be our go-to for special occasions and for a nice lunch. ”
“ We celebrated our wedding anniversary here so it was a special occasion meal for us, however there were a lot of casual dinners as well and the prices are moderate enough to suit most budgets. We had a reservation and it was busy on a Wednesday but there didn't seem to be a wait. It's a gorgeous space with nice views of the mountains and city at night. The patios look awesome for when the weather warms up. Our server Karen was wonderful; friendly, professional, and fun. The food was paced perfectly and we enjoyed the featured wine of the month as well as a tasting flight. The baked brie is delicious and we had the wagyu beef meatloaf and seafood carbonara for our entrees. Both really delicious! ”
